Cookie policy

Last updated September 10, 2026. What this site stores in your browser, what needs your permission, and how to change your mind.

A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep. Other kinds of browser storage, such as local storage, do much the same job. This page covers all of it, and it applies to lebanonplumbers.com.

What is running right now

Google Analytics, and nothing else. It counts visits, records which pages are read, and tells us which pages lead to a phone call. That is the whole of it.

There is no advertising tag on this site, no remarketing, no cross-site tracking and no third party buying this data from us. If we add paid advertising later, this page changes before that happens rather than after, and a consent notice comes with it.

Strictly necessary

These make the site work and cannot be turned off. Our hosting provider may set short-lived technical cookies to serve pages and protect the site from abuse.

No information in this category is used to track you or to build a profile.

Analytics

We use analytics to see which pages people read, which pages they leave, and roughly where visitors come from. That is what tells us whether a service page is answering the question it is meant to answer. It is reporting about the site, not about you personally, and we do not use it to identify individual visitors.

Advertising

None at the moment. If we do run paid advertising, we would use advertising cookies to measure which ads and keywords lead to a call or a service request. Without that measurement we cannot tell a campaign that works from one that wastes money. These cookies are set by the advertising platforms themselves, and those platforms may also use them to show you our ads elsewhere.

Until that happens, no advertising cookie is set from this site and no advertising measurement is sent.

Cookies set by other companies

Analytics and advertising cookies are set by the platforms that provide those services, not by us, and the data goes to them as well as to us. Their own policies govern what they do with it. Because that list can change as campaigns change, the reliable way to see exactly which cookies are present on your device is your browser's own storage inspector, which is available in every major browser under its privacy or developer settings.

Controlling cookies in your browser

Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, and most offer a setting for third-party cookies specifically. Blocking cookies entirely will not stop you using this site, since nothing here depends on them. Your browser's help pages explain where those settings live.

Turning analytics off

Every major browser can block cookies, either entirely or from third parties, and blocking them will not stop you using this site because nothing here depends on them. Browser extensions that block analytics work too, and so does Google's own opt-out add-on. We would rather tell you that than pretend the only way out is a banner.

Changes

If we add a category of cookie, or start using a new platform in a way that changes what is stored, we will update this page and the date at the top of it before that goes live.
